    have you heard about the bermuda triangle? the bermuda triangle, also known as the devil's triangle, is a region in the western part of the north atlantic ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels([ˈvesəl]n.船，舰；) are alleged([əˈledʒ]vt.断言，宣称) to have mysteriously disappeared in a manner that cannot be explained by human error, piracy（['paiərəsi;'pairəsi]   n. 海盗行为，盗版）, equipment failure, or natural disasters. popular culture has attributed these disappearances to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial（ [ˌekstrəti'restriəl;ˌekstrətə'restriəl] adj. 地球(或其大气圈)外的，行星际的n. 外星人） beings.

     你听说过百慕大三角吗？百慕大三角，又称魔鬼三角，（但此区域并不是三角洲地形），位于北大西洋的马尾藻海，是由英属百慕大群岛、美属波多黎各及美国佛罗里达州南端所形成的三角区海域。据称在那里经常发生飞机和水面舰艇神秘消失事件，而且这些都无法用人为过失、海盗行为、设备故障或者自然灾害等原因来解释。普遍说法是把这些神秘事件归咎于超自然现象，物理学，外星人活动。

    关于那些飞机、舰艇消失的说法有很多种，下面是本人的观点哈（个人揣测），同学们，告诉我你的想法~

     among all the possible explanation for disappearances in the bermuda triangle, including the popular theory indicated it caused by alien abductions（ [æb'dʌkʃən]   n. 诱拐）, i prefer the statement that bermuda triangle area is a portal( [ˈpɔ:tl]n.(正)门；隧道) to other place.

      there are 3 reasons that stand for  bermuda triangle area is home to the lost city of atlantis and remnants( [ˈremnənt]n.残留部分) of its advanced technologies.

      firstly, someone said that atlantis had many modern-day technologies which ultimately( [ˈʌltimitli]ad.最后，最终) destroyed the city, including a death ray( [rei]n.光线，射线) weapon. armed with advanced weapons, we have reason to believe it has the ability to make so many planed and ships vanish([ˈvæniʃ]

      secondly, researchers would discover the western edge of atlantis near the coast of bimini, in the bahamas, and they did find a "road" of stones there in 1968. they have found evidence( [ˈevidəns]n.根据，证据，迹象) that appears to support the idea the stones were shaped and placed there as a wall. the additional( [əˈdiʃənəl]a.添加的，额外的，另外的) finding of a possible underwater city near cuba([ˈkju:bə]n.古巴) adds fuel to the fire for those supporting the atlantis idea.

      in a word, the discovery of stones, underwater pyramid and crystal make me believe that the lost city of atlantis really exsist.this is my opinion, and what about yours?
