说到北京你会想到什么？皇城紫禁？还是？每座城市总有它标志性的东西，或多或少。华盛顿也是。那么，此时此刻，对于华盛顿，第一时间出现于你脑海里的会是什么呢？2016桂豫国际教育>>>
出了图书馆，远远的就望见了一个巨大的白色圆顶。友人笑说“那个建筑很眼熟啊！”我笑。沿着图书馆继续往前走，很快就来到了这里---国会大厦。这个白色圆顶的建筑物，被公认为是华盛顿的相征。它主要由南北两侧构成，南侧是众议院，北侧是参议院。据说共有535名议员在此举行会议，大厦内职员达7500多人。
以国会大厦为中心，环绕着中间的林荫大道，众多的博物馆。顺着林荫大道往前走，我们最先到达的就是自然历史博物馆。该馆分别由1941年建的西馆和1978年建的东馆构成。西馆以珍藏13 －19世纪欧洲绘画（尤其是意大利绘画）、雕塑和美国美术为主名家如林，名画繁多。东馆展示20世纪以后的作品，现代派、印象派、抽象派等作品即有鲜亮的色彩，又有老朽的堆砌，极大地开阔了美术的概念。
林荫大道的另一端就是仿古希腊巴特农神庙式的林肯纪念堂，无奈当时时间紧迫，只是远远的瞧了一眼。
这次，我扮演了更匆忙的过客。华盛顿之行来去太匆忙，确实留下了不少遗憾。有太多的东西没看，最可惜的是天空不作美，第二天一天的大雨让我们无奈的取消了原定于去老城区出街景的计划。或许，残缺才是种美吧。阅读上一篇：美国游学胜地之尼亚加拉瀑布
