    英国的金融业非常发达，在英国要经常和银行打交道，以下是一些基本常识：
    1、“Cash Card”：可以从银行或ATM机提起现金；
    2、“Chegue guarantee card”：在您使用支票时，商家要求您出示此卡。卡上注明了每次可开支票的最高额度；
    3、“Debit card”：使用此卡可以直接在商店消费，费用通过银行结算系统直接从您的帐户上扣除。
    以上三卡通常可以合并成一卡，使用起来非常方便。
    4、“Credit card”：允许您先花后付，您将定期收到上月的帐单，要求您安排付款事宜；
    5、“Current account”： 用于存取的活期现金帐户。利息很低或没有利息；
    6、“Saving account”：定期存款帐户，支取需提前通知，有利息；
    7、“overdraft”（透支）：透支是不允许的。
