  students are influenced more by their teachers rather than their friends. use reasons and examples to support your answer.

  when it comes to the controversy that whether students are influenced more by their teachers rather than their friends, some interviewees may agree with it, considering that teacher is someone who teaches, and students will imitate their teachers’ behaviors. however, the students may regard friends as the most influential people to them. from my personal perspective, i agree with the latter one.

  many parents thought the children were influenced more by teachers because teacher is a key point of gaining a high test mark. they think a superior teacher will enable the children to understand and absorb academic knowledge in an efficient way. that is to say, teachers or professors just influence students mostly on academic course.

  however, friends are whom we spend the most time with. no matter how old he or she is, friends will undoubtedly teach you something important in an invisible way. for instance, i have a male friend called jin. i first met him when i entered junior school. he became an actor at the age of 7. to fully show the protagonists’ intrinsic world, he had to experience adult’s life, which made him premature. he knew a lot of common sense like interpersonal communication skills and how to be a popular person and so on so forth. i am an explicit girl and always say something incompatible. but jin told me the key points of being a polite girl. unquestionably, as a confidant, he taught me a lot.

  friends can be made through classroom study and social practice. some of them are peer, and some of them are much elder than you. for example, xue yulin is my intimate friend. she became my friend when i was acting as an assistant for my teacher’s academic seminar which is held in beijing university. at that time, yulin is just a phd student majored in biology in beijing university. i was a high school student. yulin is an extremely persistent and competent woman. she regarded me as a clever and trendy girl without enough self-confidence. she clearly knows that i grew up in a sweet environment and lacked of frustration education. she always tells me about the real world and encourages me to face the cruel reality. now i am much more independent than before, which can be ascribed to yulin. hence, as a friend, yulin benefits me a lot.
