when it comes to the children’s education, many parents show their worry about the uncontrolled negative influence that modern devices like television or movies brings. different people hold different opinions. some parents believe that the information carried through these mediums will not harm their children and their offspring have the capability to refine beneficial programs from all of them. from my personal perspective, modern mediums like internet, movies and television will help children grow up.

as everybody knows, as one of the modern and influential mediums, television plays a important role in bringing information. some of the information makes people optimistic, but a few of them are worrying like new concerning wars or international conflicts. no matter the news is about the newly built disney land in shanghai or the statistical results of casualty number in iraq, it is the real world. that is to say, the news shown on the television is the truly happening things in reality, which accelerate the children’s growing process. parents find it hard to control their sons or daughter for they are mr. or ms grown up. they have their own and unique notion about the world. they no longer behave according to their parents’ order because they have their own minds or ideas. i think this phenomenon is good. children will finally be adults, which cannot be denied by anyone. and the group of uncontrolled children just shows the beginning of being a mature man or lady.

hence, i think that parents find it harder and harder to control their children for their children have been adults. and parents, as children’s guides, should not try to control their offspring substantially.
