    假期来临之前，“你暑假去哪个国家？”已经成为了学生圈子里的主流话题。不少家长也将这次海外游学作为对孩子一个学期刻苦学习的奖励。他们认为，暑期短时间的国外游学，相当于留学的先体验。
    如何规划超长暑假，不少家长和学生提早数月便有了准备，信奉“读万卷书不如行万里路”的他们选择游学性质的夏令营，期待着能在两点一线的常规学习生活之外，得到不一样的启示与收获。近年来，随着社会的不断进步和生活水平的明显提高，很多家长不惜“血本”，花费数万元，在暑期送孩子远赴海外游学，增长见识开拓视野。
    为迎合这部分家庭的需求，部分机构与海外知名大学合作开展学习课程，学生参与相关的课程后，在游学期末以水平考核的方式获取证书。有家长认为，通过这种学习考核的方式获取的证书，可能作为留学申请的材料，有利于孩子日后成功申请留学。
