give it a shot 是什么意思？可不是“打一枪”哦。要表达“很努力地(做一件事)”怎么说？下面就让小编来告诉你吧。
1. give it a shot! 试试看！
a: it would be so cool if i can win this contest. i don't think i'm good enough, though.
要是我能赢了这项比赛的话该有多好。但我不认为自己足够好。
b: give it a shot! you'll never know.
试试看啊！没试怎么会知道！
说到"试试看"，大家一定都会想到"have a try"或是"give it a try"吧，当然这两个都是对的，这里我们再给大家提供一个"give it a shot"。"cool"是"很棒"的意思。"you'll never know." 是"你不知道会怎么样"的意思。
2. work one's butt off 很努力地(做一件事)
a: i can't believe all my work is gone just like this. i've worked my butt off on this all day.
我不敢相信我的心血就这样丢掉了！我今天一整天辛辛苦苦都在搞这个！

怎么啦？计算机当了吗？
