奥运会开始两天，中国已经夺得6金2银，这个战绩着实令人喜悦。看看下面这两个人就在兴奋地谈论中国队的表现呢，希望中国体育健儿获得更多的奖牌！
a: china did very well in the last olympics in athens.
中国在上届雅典奥运会上取得了优异的成绩。
b: i know, but i think they’ll do much better in beijing.
我知道，但是我想中国队在北京奥运会上将表现更加出色。
a: i’m sure they will. it makes a big difference when the olympics are in your own country.
我肯定他们会的。当奥运会在你们自己的国家召开情况会很不一样。
b: and in front of your own people.
而且是在自己国家的人民面前举行。
a: yes, i think china will win lots of gold medals this time.
是的，我想中国这次将赢得很多块金牌。
b: so do i.
我也这样想。
notes 注释：
1 you can express your opinion by saying i think . . .
例如：i think china will win lots of gold medals. /我想中国将赢得很多块金牌。
2 if you agree with something which somebody believes or thinks, you can say so do i.
如果你同意某人的看法或者想法，你可以说so do i /我也这样想。
